3개월 정도 프리랜서로 작업하면서 골머리를 앓았던 작업 중 하나가 depth 제한 없는 카테고리를 만드는 것이었는데 (당연하지만) 이미 책으로도 편찬되었을 정도로 RDB 분야에서 유명한 주제인 것 같다. 이것 때문에 다른 종류의 DB를 쓰기는 싫어서 열심히 찾아보니 좋은 글을 찾았다. 그래서 구체적인 내용이 궁금하시면 위의 링크로 가보시면 될 것 같고 구현 같은 경우에는 nested set의 언어별 구현체를 깃허브에서 찾아보시면 될 것 같다.
